An exceptionally fine Tang dynasty statue of standing court lady "Fat Lady" wearing long robe, her hands are held out in front of her.
This gorgeous statue, with serene face expression and well defined details, an excellent example from the golden period of Chinese history, and reflect the appreciation of the female form during the Tang Dynasty.
This type of sophisticated woman statues provided eternal companionship for their lords throughout the afterlife.
